Thanks for the help guys. I looked for a while where the brackets were meant to go and i saw the oem holes but i couldn't make 'em work. If it was -5 out right now i'd be tryin to put 'em in the right way, but until spring comes ill just continue praying they stay in place.

PM Kzoosho or GTR_rider.

Or just put up a "WTB: R34 Retro" in the for sale section.

Yeah, after doing my own...that seems to be mostly parts, not even labor.

Only if you pay full price and dont get jobber rates lol. Good thing about buying in bulk. It does pay off.

Corner bulbs in r34

I noticed a few of you guys are using clear corner bulbs, what color do those light up? I think color ones look funny btw since you can see the whole bulb just sitting there saying hiiiii. Anyhow I may go back to putting a bulb in there and in IMO the clear ones that Wizard and a few other have looks best. Anyone know if there are any clear bulbs that light up yellow?

Any of you guys have a problem with the corner bulb touching the black Valence piece and causing it to melt? When I had a corner bulb in mine in the past it was touching the plastic black Valance and making it melt. I had to cut a notch in the piece to clear to bulb. That was before I went with LED corner piece Kzoosho made for me. Now Im thinking of going back to a bulb.

Yeah that's where I was getting at. I found some chrome ones on ebay but don't know if they are good or not. I guess a bulb is a bulb. I'm looking for a chrome pair that will give off a yellowish look Can anyone recommend a chrome pair with a nice yellow light?

Dude, I never seen those lights on a pearl before. They look real nice. I was thinking about getting those but I already got 8000K HIDs. Will it still work?

This was an awesome thread to read through, need more like it. The only thing I didnt see was what exactly were the best projectors to retro into the r34 housings..... but I thinks its a matter of what you have/ can afford. Awesome thread tho.

Yeah I considered the r34's many times and they look great ! But I still like the stock clears (97-99) better.

Today's R34's don't fit any better/worse than the first batch made years ago. Fitment was dead on with the OP's set, and mine was too (early adopter of the R34's)

That's because the "best" projectors to put in them is a matter of opinion.

I have S2000 AP1's in mine.

I was just going to comment on not ever hearing about fitment issues with these.

I could be mistaken, but I believe Ionic never made eyelids for the R34's, only the OEM headlights.

His website doesn't show them either, just these.

I had a set of eye lids on my stock headlights. I though they looked out of place being that the head lights are two separate pieces and sold them. They might look good of the R34's though, curious to see some pics.

Reading through the first few pages really was an awsome experience.

Has these lights ever been redesigned so that their beam pattern got better? Or is it still the same beam pattern as it was years ago.
