They look good. Maybe I might buy a set before I get my HID conversion kit. It looks like you have to take out the whole headlight to change the sidemarker buld. That wouldn' t be cool.

Yea, but how often do you change the side marker bulb?? For the look that once in a blue moon you need to change it wuuldn't kill you. n the lights look like they come out fairly easy snyways.

paul in the posts above when you included my sn, what was the point of that post? where the hell does it start to make sense? whats your problem? are you really that bored to the point where you have to try and own other members? i was just asking if anyone has completed a retro because i still haven't seen it done with these lights. im just waiting to see if the beam pattern issue would be corrected with a retro.

Is anyone even remotely close to completing a retrofit. I'm (aswell as more people most likely) starting to get antsy.

I was able to squeeze a few fingertips in there in order to swap out the corner bulbs. It was a lil frustrating but still easier then removing the entire headlight. Pics up in a few hours of blacked out install on Crimson Blaze paint with 8000K HID's as well as beam patterns. HID beam pattern = caca. Time for some projectors. =)

I sent mine out to maxgtr2000 to get retrofitted. But as the first few pages stated, you shouldn't buy these lights unless you plan to retrofit them. I'd go as far to say they are dangerous with regular halogens. After putting the stock headlights back in I realized they are better then the r34's even with hid's.

personally im quite happy with them. i mean i had to re aim them a bit up and down, but other than that i like em a lot. as long as i can see the road im happy. not to mention, these have a much wider spread than the stock ones, which i kinda like too.

mainly night shots, low and high beam, thats when i do most of my driving. also take a few head on and the very end of the beam pattern so you can get a good measruement on distance.

That doesn't look bad. Mine look more like the pattern shown on page 1. I guess you got lucky. I wouldn't have kept these on my car if I didn't get them retrofitted.

If you are refering to his side marker lights (clearance - blue bulb) he's most likely using a PolarG bulb (you can buy it on Ebay or custommaxima.com). I think it's 7 bucks a bulb.

Here ya go... Some better pics... A cop stopped by while i was taking these pics and wanted to know what i was doing. I told him i was taking some pics. He says "of what?" i tell him my car and he says "in the dark?" in an unconvinced tone. haha. probably thought i was a perv.

Mind you, the camera doesnt really do these justice. The high beams are much brighter, not to mention the camera really picks out the beam pattern. When youre driving, the crown-like pattern is less noticeable.

Regular beam

High beam

The Cefiro headlights would look better if they could actually fit.

For the ones that already bought and installed these headlights, do the new weather strips underneath the headlights come with, or do we use the ones already there, or they are not necessary with the new headlights at all?

Headlights look great. My biggest problem with Cefiros are the gaps and these did just the trick. Wish the beam pattern was better (like everyone else.). Nice job on the experimenting.

these come with them already one... you do not have to do any transferring of anything for these headlights... just take the old ones off, and put these on. Everything fits perfectly minus holes for the grill like the guy showed on the earlier pages. you do not need to do any rewiring of any sorts for the different bulbs. it comes with everything needed.

Just out of curiosity, has anyone thought about some Mazda6 Projectors? Theyre really small, not sure the size. Any reason they wont work?

I have my tsx projectors mounted but it fits kinda too perfect and makes it hard to fit a shroud. So if the mazda 6 projectors are smaller or at most same size as tsx then u should be in business.

Well, I was in front of a 6 the other day, I look back, and was like "Woah! its got like bi-bi-xenons...anyway, there are like 3-4 projectors per side(atleast it looked that way, wasnt very close). Theyre pretty small, considering that the 6s I have looked at at the lot, the headlights seems shorter(in height) than ours...

u have the tsx projectors mounted in the stock housing, or the r34 low beam?

Anybody know if a set of s2000 projectors would fit in the r34 headlights?
I have oem s2000 headlamps with the projectors in them sitting around. (swapped them for an aftermarket AE version)

Well if they fit, I'll purchase a pair of the r34 and do a write up on the retro.

Have any preliminary pix? This is the route i plan on taking. I already have the projectors, ballasts and bulbs.
