The buttons for auto climate control in my 97 se don't light up when I turn the lights on. Also on the piece above with the hazard light on the left side and rear defroster on the right, the defroster lights up but the hazard button does not. The fuses are fine, but i noticed a gray plug under neath the fuse box (not the white one to check engine codes) that was dangling and not plugged in. I didn't find anything else unplugged but didn't really have the time to check it out. Any ideas?

 

did you even check the bulbs....?

Well each part of the dash should be plugged in the back of the dash. If they are then you're bulbs are dead. Change the bulbs and then see what happens.
