How to Change PCV Valve
Ok i know there are a ton of these posts here already but they all suck. no offense. After reading them i was left asking the same questions you would see asked 1000 times "where is the PCV Valve?" "have any pics showing where to find it?" and the typical answer "It's on the intake manifold." So for the slow folks like me here is a detailed answer............(no image hosting but this should help)
right next to where the throttle body cables are bolted to the intake there is a black round plactic "thing". the PCV Valve is directly beneath it. You will see a small black rubber hose leading directly into the manifold. To make life easier, remove the 2 10mm bolts that hold that braket in place. also remove the 2 10mm bolts that hold the black hose into place. (one is on the left sitting on top of the intake manifold in the open, the other is a bracket holding the rubber tube in place.) once this is done, using some needle nose pliers, move the metal clamp up the rubber hose away from the manifod and pull off the hose. (i used a long flathead to pry it up since there isnt much space to grab) then GENTLY use the flathead to pry the pcv valve out of the manifold. installation is the reverse of removal. if you buy an aftermarket valve and find it hard to push in GENTLY tap it in using a flathead and hammer. and i mean GENTLY!!!. like i said no pics, but even a dummy like me should be able to locate it after this.
Now the new one rattles (ball design) but the one i removed was silent. not sure if it was clogged or was a spring design that opens uder pressure but for $4 and 10 minutes its worth the change. Hope it helps.

so...you took the initiative to go look for yourself and you figured it out despite your "slow-ness" ?
also, the PCV valve is located on the valve cover, not the intake manifold.
if everyone would just buy a haynes or chiltons manual and look in there before posting on here i think there'd be alot less redundant questions being asked and more "space" for other stuff.

wow things haven't changed much here. I haven't been on this forum in God knows how long and still people ask the same stupid redundant questions and yet get the same smartass responses such as "go buy and freakin manual"
no offense to anyone here. just makes me laugh that people don't learn.

PCV is supposed to rattle. There is a valve inside that only opens one way and its supposed to rattle. When u hear rattle it tells u that its actually a GOOD PCV Valve , while a silent one is actually a bad one.
Matrix it doesnt matter if u bought the pcv valve from a stealership or autozone , it should rattle.

I replaced my PCV valve earlier this year, with an aftermarket part. The OEM PCV valve still rattled when it was removed, but I replaced it anyway because it was coming up to 12 years old.
