Can pierced Y-Pipe trigger a 0901 SES Code?

Hi

My Y-pipe is old, rusty and has a hole in it somewhere. I plan on getting it replaced soon but was wondering if this situation could trigger a 0901 (Front Right Htd 02 sensor heater) SES code?

Depends on where the hole is. If it is in front of the sensor then it can cause a cel.
