Any tips I should before re-sealing my oil pan. Was supposed to do it 4 months ago, but never could get everything together (place, time, etc.). If anyone has any knowledge on resealing the oil pan ..PLEASE LET ME KNOW.

One main question are the o-rings in the engine block and oil pump body and if new ones have to be used or can the old ones be put left in?

The usual rule of thumb is that you replace any O-ring which you remove, even if it was not leaking. However, there is no need to replace an O-ring which is not leaking.

Why are you resealing the oil pan? This is an uncommon place to have a leak. Sometimes a leak from somewhere higher on the engine allows leaked oil to trickle downward, and it looks as if the pan is leaking. It's worth the trouble to clean the soiled area and watch carefully for new leakage. A professional may add a dye to the engine oil as a high-tech way of pinpointing the source of a leak.
