code 0902 rear oxygen sensor heater -- sensors have heaters ???
code 0902 rear oxygen sensor heater -- sensors have heaters ???
i checked the computer and got the dreaded 0304 KS code and the 0902 rear oxygen sensor heater code
as far as the KS i changed the air filter, used some good gas with some STP fuel injector cleaner and that code went away after a full tank ( 1.5 weeks ) but the 0902 code persists after resetting it comes back
i have NO clue what this means and i have read the explanation in the stickies but its not clear
the dealer will charge 100 dollars just to check with their computer what is wrong and they cant even guarantee they will find the problem, i assume they will find many problems as my car has 204,300 KM on it
my gas milage is ok 550 to 600 KM to one tank of 87 octane gas so i am not sure whats wrong, i know if the sensor was broken i would be getting worse gas milage
anyone ever had code 0902 ????????

i am not that mechanically enclined in changing any sensors, i rather do it at the dealership
1) SHOULD i get them to check the car with their computer its 100 dollar diagnostic
or
2) should i just come up and say change the rear O2 sensor without diagnostic first and thats it ?
basically can the ECU that shows the codes be trusted ? or should i trust the dealership more (haha i know what u r gona say--> SCREW the dealer they rip people off)
