in need of help!

okay, so i'm putting my dome light back into the car and i've been trying to find the logic in the dome light concept. when the switch is on one side, the light is totally off. when it's on the opposite side, the light is on, and when the switch is in the middle, the light is comes on only when the door opens. I'm trying to figure out where to solder the positive leads and where to solder the negative leads to...for anyone who has done this with the led's, can you please please help me out?

there are three wires. one goes to the grounding screw, and im stumped as to where the others go...

thank you
