Actual yellow fogs?

I'm looking into changes my headlights setup. I was going to do 6000k 9007 bulbs, blacked trim corners, blacked bumpers, and some type of yellow fog. I know that ebay has those yellow lens fogs but they suck I was told. I just wanted something new for the look during the day. I'm still keeping my rewired bumpers and fogs so I'm not sure how the hid, yellow fog, and amber bumpers will look. Just wanted some opinions on it and any I need recomendations for yellow lens fogs.

I'm interested in this aswell, i have some info about this maybe it'll help.
Basically i have the same set-up as you atm but want the "lexus look". I was told that Luminics or something or that sort are good yellow fogs. Also i have a friend who will be opening up his fog light and retroing yellow capsules from HIDPLANET.

There are a few pics and some info about the Luminics here.

Thanks. I know about doing the capsule mod. But I want them to look yellow during the day too. No light output I mean. I think that will look good with the black housings and all. Luminics are just bulbs. I dont want just bulbs. I would just do the capsule mod. I want them to look yellow. Example:

I know these are not good quality. Someone said they cracked after a few weeks using them. I'm wondering if I can just film my stock housings? Not sure how that's done. Any ideas with that one?

Well the last link i gave has alot of info and alot of pics. But i think i'm gonna just put mini h3 3k HID's for that yellow look. Much more simple plus you know they bulbs will last more than a month.

internet at work > me (VOIP sucks donkey ballz)

I didn't see the pic. I still don't lol but i know it's there since there's a huge space with the pic missing.

Edit: OK so i finally saw the pic. I know a few ppl with them on, they seem to be fine and working good. Yes you can use film on the stockers. I have the link for that as well but it's bookmarked on my home computer (if it's still there) I'll post the link later tonight if i find it.

Haha ok. It's just the yellow lens fogs from ebay. They call them amber but they really are yellow lens. At least it looks that way. I pm'd vquick to see how the capsules look during the day. If they look yellow enough I might just do that mod. I can always film them sometime.

I agree haha. Maybe I'll test that out someday. Once my 00vi goes in I'll be free to try other stuff with the car. Right now I'm just getting the ideas haha.

pfft i thought you put the 00vi on already.... Are you still gathering parts? I wanted to go 00vi but then priced everything out and it's pretty much cheaper to swap for a de-k lol

Yeah the de-k is a good way to go. I just wanted to use my engine since I wasn't sure how could a condition the de-k would be in ya know? I'm still getting the parts in. Everything is payed and all. Being at school I can't check if I have it all a lot. Only go home a few times a month. Thats why the swap isnt in. Gotta do it over christmas break. Just about 3 weeks and it should be started.

Yeah i feel you on the motor part, but that's y i have Tavarish and ViperVadim. I consider them Nissan Master Tech's plus they live close to me and are gonna do my swap. But i'm looking for a fairly new motor, 30k or less (hopefully the cherry isn't popped). Then do auto-rx, deep creep or seafoam. But i'm still contemplating about this. Anyway i'll try to find the link for you...boss said i can go home w00tness!!!

Haha good times. Yeah I still think that 00vi and auto-rx in my motor will be fine for me. I'm only a DD. I don't track or autox so I'm all set with the 00vi and some other stuff.

for the yellow film that covers over the fogs. Also comes in icy blue, crystal and smoke.

My only concern with that would be due to the heat that my fogs put out, will it melt the sticker?
stick with the stock bulbs and the sticker is 20mm thick. I think you would be fine. Maybe contact stickercity and ask them.

Well I contacted them. I'll see what they say about heat.

Was that paint some transparent stuff? I would guess it to be like a spray tint film. Idk tho. Ask your friend for me.

Sorry, can't find the damn link to the write up of the film. But that link is pretty cool...from reading it i think you can just put the film which is 17mm thick on the outside of the fog and then put the 20mm clear one over that? Or am i lost? lol

Idk. I was thinking it's one piece of film. You can get colored or clear. They protect the lights and give color I guess. I'm waiting for them to reply to my email.

Lens known to crack in short period of time due to heat from the bulb, but it's your choice. Luiminic bulbs known to have yellow output compared to PIAA ionic.

Yeah I agree. Waste of money. Much rather do the capsules. VQuick said that they look yellowish during the day. Stickercity was worthless. I told them the pictures didnt work and I needed to know what heat the stickers lasted till. They sent me an email saying "all I can do is refer you to our showroom on the website". What an f'n waste. I told him the showroom didnt work and he told me to look at it....no way I'm buying anything from them.

Just get some 3000K HID foglights. You won't be disappointed.
