So A fellow orger and myself did a little maintenance to the max today. We replaced the PCV valve and fuel filter. Everything seemed to have gone well. When I got home and was pulling in, i noticed a slight whining inside the car. I popped the hood and found that it was coming from teh PCV valve we just replaced. Not sure what could be wrong, but I wont be able to check it out till tomorow when he will be available. The new valve seemed perfect and when in shook you could hear the proper rattling. The old one was shot when we shook it. Is there supposed to be a whining sound in the first place, being that this one works and the old one did not? What. The hoses seem nice and tight.

 

i have the same problem i just did it the noise is annoying and sounds like a powersteering pump whine
