Axle replacement how to?

i gotta change my 2 front axles and was wondering if there was any how to page on how to do it? also anyone have any cheap sites that sell axles?

you can get axles for about $50 or so @ arch auto parts in queens. to change the drivers side, jack up the car, take off the wheel. take off the axle nut. you can either lock the wheel all ofthe way left and try to slide it out of the spindle or remove either the tie rod or strut tower from the spindle. once you take off either of those, you can pull the spindle forward and pull the axle out of it. then simply yank the axle out of the tranny.
for the passenger side, it is pretty much the same thing except there is a bracket in the middle(3 bolts i think) that has to be loosened. then you can yank and remove. installation is reverse of removal. for thepassenger you wont be able to lock the wheel in order to take the axle out. you have to either unbolt the strut fromt he spindle or undo the tie rod from it.
