City lights for stock headlights like the Cefiros

like the pics on this cardomain, http://www.cardomain.com/ride/212421/6

is it possible to incorporate that into our stock headlight housing? cuz I think that looks pimp as hell

and no, Its not what you think in my sig, its from the gay 9004 bulbs i had in there before, and yes they were blue, and no I am not talking about that...... lol

I dont think it looks good. Kind of tacky to me. But it could be possible. Possible extra hole for light inside the housing? I'm not sure.

dude you gotta straight up direct link that sh*T

i have always wanted to do this too though...i imagine its just a hole drilled into the housing and an led glued in and then wired up to turn on by switch or with the corner lights. but im not really knowledgable about resistors and **** so i dont know how that'd work.
but im curious to see what others will say...

FIRST OF ALL BUDDY...WE DONT NEED YOUR OPINION.
just kidding haha...yeah i dont think i'd do mine blue either. but i think the idea it self is pretty neat. Its like a little lamp...i think its kinda classy...i mean its not functional, just for show.
i would probably do mine red.

i think both the one and two piece Cefiro headlights have city lights.

the best place for this city light would have to be found with some experimentation. probably in the top shining down and to the back to fill the housing with light. or somehow kinda hidden behind the bulb shield.

personally I'd rather somehow add a socket for the bulb to go into rather than just drilling a hole and gluing the bulb in.

.... hmm its not that hard... just use white led.. i hate that led nonsense but its is the easiest way waycause with bulb you have to make a big hole.... about dime sixe hole.

well thanks for stating the obvious.
now back to the point > its a light other than the headlamp which is in the headlight housing (on the front of the car). and what purpose does it serve? they just look cool. i was just saying that i doubt your going to get in trouble for having your housing lit up by a tiny little LED while your parked or something.
if your driving like that at night, then yeah, your just asking to get in trouble.

Yeah chillen I agree that the idea is cool. I just dont like the blue. I agree that a LED might work for that and tie it to a power switch on the dash. Blue, green, and red are illegal but using them while parked and **** is cool. Good luck.

I've wired a 194 bulb with my parking lights, so when I turn only the parking lights, the 194 bulb lights up...
sorta acts like daytime running lights...

THe hole for 194 bulb is already there, the cefiro's should've came with the connector, but it's up to the user to wire them up..

He's not asking how to add them to Cefiro's.

I'll repeat what everyone else has already said: drill a hole, stick in a bulb, wire it to something. End of story. Personally, I don't like them, but if I did it, I'd do white and wire it into a 12v source that comes on with the ignition.
