I don't know if its the weather or what but here is another problem. My fuel guage on the dash is not working properly while the car is running. Everbody knows that guage will read the amount of gas while the car is not running but in my case while the car is on it gives a false reading. I don't know if its the float inside the tank or the guage on the dash. If anybody ran into this problem and solved it, please share the info. Thanks!!

 

if your guage is bad i have one for sale. wen you say false reading, you mean it always reads empty? shows gas when there is none?

If i have the time we can hook up the extra cluster i have and figure out if it is the guage or float.

 

Its shows the correct reading before I start the car, then it goes to half a tank and stays there.

 

doesnt sound like a float problem.

 

Thats how I feel about it. I guess I have to look into further.

mmm. Thats exactly the problem i had when the car was off it read the fuel fine but when i turned ON i stayed on half tank always. My problem was that when i installed LEDS one leg was touching a little silver thing by the gauge. So if you didnt installed led's it must be the gauge broken can't tell for sure... Just my .02

 

Maybe I will take apart the cluster this weekend and see. Thanks guys.
