anyone swap their transmission while their car has ABS?

I'm wondering if anyone has been able to pull this off.

that ABS box is in the way of where tranny cables are supposed to go...

Its been done before. The abs box gets in the way of the clutch hydrolic lines. Easiest way to get around the problem is get a ss line don't use the factory lines at all. Someone in the for sale section is selling a ss line that replaces all lines from slave to master.

Ahh I thought you meant installing the actual tranny. I never thought about those hard lines.

As mentioned using the single long SS line from the master to the slave will ease the job.

its actually a much better line....i will prolly put in a SS when i do my clutch in the spring

Just don't let it rub against ANYTHING along its length. SS lines are extremely abrasive - you wouldn't want it eating through and electrical line, fuel line, ABS line, hell anything.
