My maxima's at the trans shop with badly scored shaft the throw out bearing rides on. They say new case half, bearings, seals gaskets, clutch kit, flywheel resurface, and I found a torn axle boot so new axle assy for $2400. Anyone know how to find a good used, lsd, Quiaffe? option, or other ideas for my 124k miles. Nissan replaced the axle bearings at 54k. What would cause this? I probly let it go too long as I felt the hitch in my clutch for a while.

 

if you are going to spend that kind of money, you can buy a brand new vlsd tranny for 1750. new clutch for like 150(5th gen kit) and an axle half for i dunno 100?
