running rich... with my de-k motor

So i decided to change my plugs, and to make a long story short im running very rich. What could i do to correct this. What would you guys reccomend for something to tune a/f ratios along with something that will open up my variable intake. My friend said the vafc2 isnt something he would reccomend.

the de-k has larger injectors I believe so if ur using a 4th gen ECU its calibratiing for smaller injectors...so lets say at 3 bar of fuel pressure the 4th gen ECu thinks u need more fuel under WOT cause it does not rely on the 02s to give fuel readings...it uses its preprogrammed settings which are for smaller injectors....all u need to do is get S/VAFC or AFPR prferably both to tune so ur not rich under WOT...cause thats where most of ur excess fuel is comming from

adjustable fuel pressure regulator? i have a dek also..also running rich, I just bought a vafc2 to tune with and to open the vi..I would recomend getting one. does your friend have one that doesnt recomend it? does it work? not sure y he would say not to get it...I will also be getting a wbo2. I get a backfire when i let off above 3.5k rpms. I will let you know if the vafc2 fixes this problem

the VC2 will fix it the rich conditions to a point....the AFPR just allows for more options like timing advance

its called the all motor section....the VAFC can correct fuel to i think 50 +/- Factory settings...which should be plenty...thats the point i meant....and yes raised fuel pressure and taking out fuel will advance timing

anytime you change to bigger fuel injectors, you need to have the mass air calibrated for the bigger fuel injectors. I did this on my 5.0

You don't have to. You could just buy an AFC and 'tune' from there.
