I dont need to say much for this one:
S pipe inlet (behind cat):
S pipe outlet:
Crush behind resonator:

I have a 2.5 to 2 (or 2.25?) gradual reducer in place of the s and the resonater/crush removed and replaced with stock diameter (runs until the bend before the axle). It still gets smaller over the axle but I have been reading into gradual reduction (Dave B mentioned it ahwhile back).

I dont know the diameter above the axle but since most of the piping is about 2" Im sure its smaller where its bent. I tossed that section away since its not that interesting to look at. The S pipe and crush/crimp on the other hand.....
The Courtesy pipe is nice but since it bolts to the S pipe its not a good design. Gregs Garage page had a good write up about that. He modded the pipe to remove the S pipe, good idea in my mind.
I didnt notice gas milage differences. I havent put all that many miles on my car lately. I would assume it would go up a bit, possible not enough to notice with my driving style. I get like 200-250 to a tank. If I go on a long trip Ill get 400 or so.
Motorvate.ca dynoed a b pipe, check his site out. I think the numbers were 4-8 hp at various points.

the dam maxima has to many dam pipes, Ypipe, Bpipe, Spipe, Test pipe WTF
i love how simple my other car is 4" DP/ 4" MP/ Apex Exhaust, Done and gains are 50-80rwhp + 2-3 hundred rpm spoolup increase, and the whole Exhaust system is as straight as an arrow with almost no bends

Next up is the resonator, actually I took pix of that too. I will post them up.
I have punched out 2 cats, one a Carsound (2.5" in and out) the other a stock (2.5" in and 2.75" out). After looking at both there is no reason to buy an aftermarket cat, unless your tune will ruin the inside. They dont do anything for N/A setups thats for sure.
My car has a stock muffler and is really loud for what it is. With an aftermarket, read unequal length, Y pipe the sound sucks no matter what cat back you run.
90% of the cat backs and B pipes will bolt directly to the cat. Courtesy, and others like Megan bolt to the S pipe, which is used on the 97/98's. The Courtesy pipes are no longer made but were available from Courtesy Nissan in TX. Cattman, Budget, Warpspeed, Stillen will all bolt up in place of the stock 4th gen B, ALL years.

I believe they discontinued the Courtesy b-pipe a long time ago.

A resonated pipe wont affect HP numbers.
One thing I have noticed with my setup ( Warpspeed y budget unresonated B with a stock muffler) is that the gas pedal is alot firmer and is more sensitive. I love it. Any one else noticed this?

how does it sound though with the unresonated b pipe

I have a Budget stainless steel y-pipe, coupled with a K&N panel filter.
I am thinking of getting a Budget stainless steel B-pipe, with the resonator, in about a year after I go through emissions testing.
I have a new OEM muffler and am not into noise.
Would I expect 4 to 8 whp gains like shown on www.motorvate.ca, or would the addition of the resonator minimize the hp advantage reflected in the dyno results?

I know what you mean about the vibrate noise, it sounds like its vibrating but its not. I think i am just going to go with a budget b-pipe and maybe apexi ws-2 muffler. if not just keep my superturbo.

will a 5th gen catback bolt up to our car?
I think of it like this..
The undercarage of the 95-99 are ALL the same, BUT I believe the 99-03(if not, then 00-03) just bolt up before the before the axle appose to after.
SO... I jacked up the max and slid a stock 5.5 catback under the car, and EVERYTHING seemed to line up, the hanger right after the resonator was a LITTLE different, but still fit. So with a aftermarket y(with adjustable flange) I should be able to get the 5.5 cat back on there, right?
So if that works, should I be able to fit a greddy EVO II catback on there?
