Taping for Paint Job?

I am going to get my fender painted soon and wanted to know how to properly tape off the other pieces? Like I guess I need to cover up the hood, bumper, door, and headlights.
What kind of tape do I use and how do I do it?

true to that fact, but if you have any warps or bends in the fender and or the sub frame its a b*tch to get it to line back up... i know i had to rebulid my max's front end after i smashed it up pretty bad. (Radiator support, radiator, a/c condenser, fuse boxes, hood, grill, and head lights.) yup it was a long and difficult process.

Are you not going to get them to blend? Usually the whole car will be taped up but the hood, bumper and door, that way they can blend. If not the fender will not match?

you gotta have them blend it in, otherwise it will not match at all, even if its the same color. paint fades really quick.

no no no, They blend by painting the entire fender and the start painting the door and fade it out then color sand and clear both the fender and the door.

Daily driver, my objective is to keep it stock for reliability.
The problem is, I just want the fender painted and that's all. It's all prepped up and ready for paint, I don't want them to touch any other areas.
