i have a 98 maxima and after i start it sometimes it stalls out. I have no clue why it could be doing this. i changed the belts and oil today and recently changed the fuel filter. I really dont know what the problem could be. If i pump the gas after starting it, it doesnt stall. I dont have problems after it begins to run the only problem is at start up. I am really confused and need as much help as possible. thank you

 

why cant you consider that stalling because of mass air flow sensor? i dont own the same year of car that you do but on my car i had the same problem and i replaced the MAF, coils, plugs and cleaned the throttle body. the stalling gone. but most of the time the main reason of stalling is dirty or bad mass air flow sensor.

 

I have the same problem. Mine is a 97. It stalls right after it cranks but it only happens in cold weather.
