need image of assisting, trunk-opening rods

i removed 8 years ago the two 1/4" rods that are tucked up close to the underside of the pakage shelf in the name of audio. now i want to reinstall them and have NO CLUE how they go back in. been looking at many pages of the, show us what's in your trunk, in the audio section. but no pictures capture them or reveal they to have been removed by the owner in the name of audio. does anyone have a link they could point me to? i sure would appreciate it. thanks

96azn, can you take a picture of the middle of the rod, where the clip is located? I think I messed it up or st ^____^ Now my trunk latch will engage, but the trunk won't pop open .... I messed up the rod? maybe?

right on, nice pics! i got desparate, so i entered trunk on back w/ rods on stomach and began to do the Zen/ "stare" thing at underside of package shelf. less than an our later, my trunk lifted all by itself! it was a beautiful sight to behold after 8 yrs of having to insert key into trunk lock, turn, and lift w/ finger-tips of other hand under bottom edge of lid.
thanks for the pics, though.
