Humming noise

Hey guys

I noticed for awhile after i had my tranny done i had a low humming noise at around 40MPH. Now i had one wheel bearing replaced because it was shot, i assume from having the axles installed and reinstalled so many times because the stupid parts place couldn't send the right axle. The passenger side was so shot it sounded like my car was riding on chains it was that loud. Now the noise has gotten a bit louder it is most audible at 40MPH. After that i think wind noise starts to take over. The noise doesn't get quieter with the clutch in or if im in neutral so i don't think its a transmission related problem. I'm thinking it could be the drivers side wheel bearing but i'm not too sure. I grabbed the wheel once but i could not feel any play. I will get a video of it tomorrow, its more or less a concerning noise, i'm kinda worried it could be the transaxle again, because it is starting to leak a bit again, if this one goes its getting rebuilt no more shady auto wreckers that like to rip off 17 year olds anymore.

What are the chances it could be wheel bearing? Looking at the previous maintenance history i don't think they've ever been replaced before. The car has 190,000 miles on it.

thanks
chris

Heres a quick video i had of it, you can notice it at around 50-60KMH. I have a suspicion it is the wheel bearing but im not 100%. There are no weird noises when turning either.

as they said, it is probably the wheel bearing. problem is, if you waited too long you could have damaged the hub which means new bearings will just go bad again quickly. unfortuntely, the only way to be sure is to again take out the axle and look for play in the hub rear with the axle out.

Thanks, I will take a look at it tomorrow and see if i can narrow it down to a certain wheel.
