I'd say inifity components. I want to do two sets and put the second set of tweeters in the rear a pillar. Not sure the price but you can always find deals. This should be in the audio section for better results. Try the audio classifieds too.

i have a 350dollar giftcard to car toys, but i have no idea what anything is ha. i just want something that has more bass like a stock system, rather than those regular speakers that are mainly treble.

Well 350 is tough. If you dont want components then you could pull it off. New components will need a new amp to power them. Regular speakers can be bought for under 350 if you install everything by yourself. But of course there is the big debate on ohm convertors. Check the audio section. You need to read up on that to make a decision on what you want. Most say ohm convertor isnt needed but it changes the performance of the speakers. Research it out. Good luck.

Good factory replacement for not a lot of money are Alpine SPR-17LP. Screw right in, magnets are about 3X size of factory and a lot cleaner bass. About $100 pair at etronics.

Alpine Type-R 6.5" components OR Infinity Reference OR Infinity Kappa

ALL are VERY GOOD and clear. But I believe the Kappa's would be the best

I threw some of those Infinity SI slim profile speakers all throughout the inside of my 97 Max and it sounds terrific. Then again I have a Kicker 5 channel amp powering all those speakers and a Toby subwoofer in the back so my system sounds real clean and hits pretty good. But yeah the size of the interior speakers are 6.5" just FYI you might wanna check out crutchfield.com because it's really helpful in reading up on different speakers and seeing if they will fit your car.

Crutchfield doesn't think the Kappa will fit. The Focal don't look like they will fit - In the front anyway. Depth is fairly limited in the doors. The 6010cs are shown as fitting.

pick up some mid-range speakers if you want more bass in them. and ide say stay away from sony, dual, and other cheap brands. infinity is the blue-point of JL audio, so theyre not bad. i like alpine too.

Go to the audio section and they will all point you to Pearl96Max talk to him, he owns a store in NJ. My bet is this component set because it is the best for the money (around $220). They are better than Infinity, Alpine Type-R's and a little better than Focal. The next step up is the Germanium which will require an amp and it is a little out of ur budget. PM Don (Pearl96Max) and he'll help you out.
