Thermostat Gasket

Got the 20$ thermostat and housing at autozone. It came with a gasket. Should I use this gasket or use a liquid silicone sealant for a gasket?

Use the gasket. The nissan one is metal and works well, not sure what one you got.

The Nissan thermostat costed me $20 and the metal gasket $6. I would go with Nissan parts, when the cost of the aftermarket is close to OEM.

Just my $0.02!!! Happy New Year.
