Got some codes, need your help, **SOS**
I've had the P1447, or 01 11 code for the longest. I replaced the canister, as well as the purge valve on the canister but the code won't go away. Only two things left replace are solenoid valve in engine bay and black little plastic purge valve in engine bay.
My car's been in the shop for a while I checked the codes today now I have another code 01 02 or P0100 which is for the MAF. The car DOES REV ABOVE 2500 RPMS in Park or Neutral I haven't driven it yet so I don't know if it'll rev above 2.5K while driving. I don't think it'll make a difference though. I erased the codes using an OBD-II scanner started the car and SES is off.
I'm more worried/concerned about the MAF code. I don't want to be stranded anywhere.
Anyone face any similar issues and what were the troubleshooting processes and results? A new MAF is $400.00 your help would definitely be appreciated. Thanks a lot.

I have the p1447 too... i thought i saw the problem when i saw a cracked hose in the same area as the EVAP system... i tried to unplug it and when i did, gas started coming out, i put it back right away... thats the only cracked hose i could find... would that hose that leaked gas be the one which needs replacing in order to clear the code, or is it something else?

i have had the same situation, just so you know its a very hard code to fix. Your going the right way with replacing things, but make sure you have no vac leaks near the evap hoses and such, i ended up replacing the WHOLE evap system to get rid of the code.

reason why you normally end up replacing the whole system is because the whole system normally ends up plugged with with carbon build up. And the fault maybe its a fault for the purge valve or the charcoal cansiter, that is the first sensor to go bad. But since all of them are coated with carbon build it, its only a matter of time before the next sensor acts up.
the 2nd most common things are vac lines. going in and out. also fuel lines near the tank can run having a very small leak. sometimes people overfill the gas tanks and mess up the fuel pump gasket. something commonly over looked is the gas cap itself. the sealing on the gas cap can be bad or not sealing at all.
remember most of these cars are getting near 10 years old of wear and tear thru the weather and about 100k+ in driving so things are moved around a little stuff can rott out. things start breaking.

How did you end up replacing the whole EVAP system? Could you give me a rough break down of the intricate steps that were taken in order to do so? Also what about the cost?
I replaced the gas cap with an OEM Nissan one from my buddy. I did find many charcoal rocks in the 2 valves in the engine bay when I cleaned them.

im having the same problem as well Harris. It comes out p1447 but my revs go up and down just like yours. The only thing is my car is starting to smell like gas after a few hours of driving it. im taking it to the dealer tomm. How much did it cost to change the evap canister?
Blackwind can u send me a pm of how you got your whole evap system changed? I have a feeling i will end up doing the same thing. How much did that whole process cost? Did you do it your self? Someone please help

Basically i had to replace Quite a few things since there is NO WAY to figure out which component is bad UNLESS you have diagnostic tools. So here is what i replaced and ill tell you where the part is located, if you need prices on any ot the parts shoot me a PM and i'll see what i can do for ya.
First clean the IACV very important!
EVAP Purge control valve
PCV valve
Charcoal canister
Purge control valve (basically all the valves in that area) i belive there are 4 total and 2 are on the charcoal canister.
There are several others, i have to get the official names for them tomorrow.

I have yet to replace the Purge Control valve in engine bay, and solenoid metal looking valve in engine bay. I'll also replace my PCV Valve.
I need to know how I can check my MAF with the SAFC - II.
