Can I mount 18 x 8.5 wheels on my Max??

The wheels that I want are 18 x 8.5. Can I mount them? If so, what tire size? Help!

The answer is yes with the correct offset. Talk to Chunger he's running 245/40s on his 18x8.5s. I think is offset is somewhere between 35-40mm. IMO that's too wide and it will stick out in the front a little.

35mm offset but you can probably go 38...maybe 40 (possible you may rub on a full turn)...

Even with 35mm and 245s it doesn't stick out too much... look below... I do have those wheel well "stick ons" though that kinda extend the width 2mm or so...

If you are going to be running 18x8.5's you should go with 245/40/18 tires. The 245 will be wide enough and the 40 will make it so that your speedomiter will only be off by .355 - it will say you are going 100.355 mph when you are actually going 100 mph.
