Hey Guys,

I went out driving tonight and since it was a nice night, I decided to turn off the A/C and open up my windows and sunroof.

When I went to open the sunroof, I heard this noise, which I can only describe as a clanking noise. The sunroof opened all the way as normal, and closed normal, but when I opened and closed it, it made this noise.

Any ideas?

I think perhaps one of your guide wires has broken. A similar noise happened to me when I used the tilt function of my sunroof and now I can only operate it manually. Dealer charge for repair is about $1200.
