I raced the Jetta VR6 tonight but couldnt get a hold of my buddy with the GTP. Contrary to what some of you have said I beat the VR6 by atleast a car length, maybe a little more. This is what he told me also. When I asked him how far ahead I was he said probably 1-2 cars. Some of you may have been confused on my year of car though, I have a 97 GXE with Intake, and exhaust. Just thought Id let you know about the race. Ill keep you all updated on the GTP when I get a chance to race him again. Like I said in the other post, I lost to one a few months ago but that was when I had no mods at all. And it was a pretty close race then, so hopefully the Intake and Exhaust can help me out a little this time.

Deezo, Ive been gone for a while, just got back a few days ago. Ill be around more regularly now. Take Care

Yeah, but I think a the same jetta would take you on a curvy road

Congrats on the win, I think lots of people underestimate the speed of the maxima. Now get the Y-pipe and it's a whole new game.

Good Job!!!! At least when you have a story to tell about a kill, it's not a lie. Have you beaten any late model Probe GT's yet?

I beat a kid in a neon yesterday.
I was surprised that the car could even do 95MPH.

Has anyone else noticed the incredible increase in power at higher speed after installing a Y-pipe. I can definately feel lots more power when I hit the gas over 60.

I havent raced any probes yet. Are they pretty fast? I raced a Civic 5spd with CAI,Exhaust,Headers, and a chip and still beat it pretty easily. I also raced a 5spd mustang. Not a GT though and beat him too. Those arent very fast cars though. Other than that I havent raced much at all. Im getting a y-pipe in the next day or so, so that should really help me out. Take Care
