TPS problems?

So I have a PF tb and I'm using my 4th gen TPS. Anyone with the pf tb and 4th gen tps can help me out. I can't get the tps to set on mark now. I had it before at .5 and infinite (when setting the WOT). Now when I insert the .012 gauge or the .016 gauge it reads the same amount. Do you guys think the tps is shot? I'm starting to think it's not working correctly with the PF tb but I dont want to spend money on another tps. Any thoughts?

Start isnt good. Has trouble getting up then I have to hold the gas. Idle is good. Usually about 1. Drives good except for that shifting.

The 3mm need to go in, and show a number on your multimeter. Then the 3mm comes out and the 4mm goes in and should read nothing (infinity) on the multimeter. You turn the TPS in the TB till its PERFECT !!! It will take about 20 min to get right expecially after tightening those bolts. Use pin 5 and 6 on the WOT sensor.

Yeah I had it perfect before. Tried again, would not get there. Did it today and its on the dot again. .5 ohms with 3mm and infinity with the 4mm. Still get the code and shifts are still bad. I'll be checking wires tomorrow. And hopefully buying a new tps soon. My only thought was that the tps is so touchy. Even when I tighten the bolts I'll put pressure on the tps and the meter will change. Shouldnt be that way correct? Matt you have no problems with the 4th tps and pf tb?

Hey sorry to bring this back up but I'm still trying to get this to work and it's not. I relized that when the tps is set correctly it's not the problem. When I open the tb, it seems that the spring doesnt bring the tb all the back. The tps will go up to infinite, then when I let go the have it drop back down, the tps ends up at about 5 ohms. This led me to believe that the tb itself is causing my problem. It's not clossing like it should and is causing the ohms of the tps to stay at 5. What are the thoughts? Am I wrong? Should I get a new tb?

No. Only when I let the cable connector part down. When I set it to .5 I open it to WOT to check the reading. Then I let go and it won't come back down to .5. I figured the spring wasnt closing the tb. Can I get a new spring from nissan or something?

Anything? Can I buy just a new spring? Is that the problem or is it the tb itself? No way that both my 4th gen and the PF tps are busted. It's gotta be the tb.
