hey while were on the subject of speakers, i pulled open my doors of my '98 GLE the other day the replace my factory speakers with a set of clarion pro audio 6.5 inch components and to my surprise the damn factory speakers are set in an oval housings. any suggestions on getin my round 6.5s in?

if u have BOSE its the speaker Pod.....the 6.5 bolts to the pod

I KNOW HOW!!! READ ME! inside the front door speaker where the Bose used to sit, Take a knife and cut the lil plastic nubs that point INWARD where the speaker sits.... If that makes any sense.

 

Are those .75" MDF and if so, what are you selling them for?

 

They are 1" PVC board. I can do them in other thicknesses and profiles, if I have a template and demand. THe 1" thickness is the best- IMO- if you have the height.

I am selling a PAIR for $30-35 shipped.
