Who Has 20's On Thier Ride??
I was wondering if anyone has 20 inch wheels on their ride. I know i know
20's are too big but i have them for my 2006 max. Now my dad is driving it so he wants the stocks back on. So that leaves me with 20"X9 wheels to sell or put on my max. I want to see if anyone has pictures and if anyone could give me advise on how their setup is. I want to lower the car with coilovers but i dont think i can with the 20's. So thanks for the help inadvance.

Well I don't have any pictures, but the cars I have seen with 20's normally are slammed and rolled. So... Your best bet would be a coilover suspension and rolled fenders. Maybe a lot of camber. Haha VIP if you will

Mine are 20's, and I don't think they look bad at all. I love the way it looks. Fits the opening perfectly. BTW, I also have Tokico Illumina struts and Tokico lowering springs (which are about 1 1/2" drop front and rear). Hope this helps.
Oh yeah, I almost forgot. It looks a little lower in the back .... this is because I had 3 of my stock wheels and tires in the trunk that I was bringing home to put in my garage .... it really actually sits level.

If you want 20's get them. My boy Orgullo (org screename) has them on his
5th and he is lowered on Tein springs...they look good....I would not put 20's on my 4th Gen....but like I already stated...if you want them...get them.

i had 20's on my car...it didnt look bad...but it all depends on the owner of the car...big rims sacrifice A LOT of performance...but depending on the wheels...some look really nice with them. I kinda regret giving them to my sister...but they were chrome and gas was a mother. I have 20's on my wife's car (2003 altima) but those are aluminum...nowhere near as bad as the chrome. Personally, imma buy another set for my car...hyperblack aluminum alloy...but im going for show car not performance..in my opinion my car will last longer that way...but to all their own.

These are the rims i'll be putting on my 98 max. Only thing i'm concerned about it that they might be too wide. but guess not too many have experience. Here's pics.

20"s ride is fine no rub and no drop. i get hated on on the org but i get nothin but love around town so whatev. to each his own, the max is far from a sports car so why try to make it one?
it looks like i need a mad drop but a lot of it's the angle. not really plannin on droppin it tho. it would look clean about 1.5" lower

I feel like its your car and do what you want. What one person likes another wont like. If you want to put 20"s on your car do it, its your car.
Dubs were never meant to be put on any car specifically, so to specify they shouldnt be on a Maxima isnt that valid. We are all used to seeing it on a specific type of car but that doesnt mean that it should only be on that type.
Some feel the Maxima shouldnt even get performance upgrades, its just a family car, yet we fit turbo chargers, bigger injector, and throw the car down the 1/4 mile as fast as we can.
To each his/her own.

I got 20's and im tired of ppl on the org sayin it's not the thing to do with the maxima, even though people around here love it. I love car just as much as the next person. I like 20's on my ride. I love it. Someone might have a 3.5 motor swap, make it as fast as you can, its what you want, and I'm not gonna hate on them. More power to you. I've put alot of time and money into my car, just like many of us org-ers. I'm sure most of our mothers have taught us, "if you can't say nothing nice, don't say nothing at all." Appreciate the work people, encourage your fellow org members.
