Time for radiator hose replacement?
Hi, I was just looking at the radiator hoses on my '96, and I noticed that when I squeeze the upper one anywhere along its length, it crunches. I don't see any cracks, but maybe I should replace it now. The lower one looks and feels fine. Has anyone replaced theirs?
Since I'm looking at hoses, what about the heater hoses? Do they go bad? Are they accessible?
Thanks!

If you have never replaced them, it would be a good time to do that. I replaced my heater hoses and radiator hoses at the same time. I did have a leak on one of the heater ones.

Hoses can definitely go bad. If you feel that they aren't supple, or are bulging anywhere, replace them ASAP.
You don't want to find out you've burst the hose along the side of the highway.
