HID kit not working?

I got my HID kit today, I hooked everything up, the stock blub plug into the one going into the HID kit, and the 2 connections are connected. It said I needed a 20A fuse for it, so I replaced that. I power the lights on and nothing turns on, I have tried it with the engine running. Do I have to disconnect and reconnect the battery after installing it? WTF am I doing wrong?

Where did you get the kit from? I got mine from Maximabest, brand Xenon Storm and I too had trouble.
I found out the little prongs in the plug socket, were in the wrong places. So the low beam spot didn't match the low beam prong on the new socket and the same with the ground.
If you have a test light, see if they are matching. If they are wrong, you can take the prongs out the back by putting a small screwdriver in the front and gently pushing down on the tab that is holding it in.
If not, I have no idea.
Hope that gives you a place to start.

Dave I love you.

You saved the day, I have been spending 3 hours in the cold trying to get these to work, and that helped! It was exactly the problem. YOU ROCK DAVE!!!
