Cant take out the Corner Light housing to change bulbs
I Changed my headlight bulbs recently and wanted to change the corner lights (the onces that are located right beside the headlights and have the clear glass)
i unscrewed the screw but tried to wiggle the light housing out and could not get it out, i cant understand how its attached from the bottom on the inside. it seems that the part where u screw it to the car is interfering with me being able to take it out
i wanted to put blue bulbs in there at first, but then i hear u can get a ticket for that, so i wanna put some yellow bulbs there, it will match my parking lights (i dont have clear corners)
How do i get it out ?

I had some trouble trying to get it out at first because I just bought the car and haven't done it before. The manual said to use a flat head screwdriver and a cloth over it to protect from scratches.
After you remove the screw, just slip the screwdriver with the cloth over it between the corner light and headlight to pry the apart. I started at the top and once it gave way a bit you try prying them apart toward the bottom. It took a little more force for that one. Just don't be afraid of it. Again use your discretion. Take a peek to see what is actually holding it in there and pry at that part to get it out.

Yeah, I just got done pulling my clearance lights off. Take the top screw out and wiggle it free. The bottom pin on one of my lights broke. Just be careful and TAKE YOUR TIME loosening the pin out. It will come with a little wiggling.

Yeah, when I did mine, i thought i was going to snap the plastic. You REALLY have to pry hard. I got the longest flathead screwdriver i had and a wash cloth to cushion it, and i pryed from between the headlight and corner light. Good luck, but if you give it some real force, you should get. I also recommend putting some grease on the fitting for ease of service next time around.

I actually got this done already, but I guess the thread will circulate. yeah the screw driver method definitely feels weak. i used my hands as much as I could, i DID pry the light out with a screw driver about one to two centimeters, then i slid my fingers in there and started pulling until the light came out of the ball joint. Remember to pull away from the headlight direction.
If you dont mind getting ur hands ditry (or you could wear gloves like i figured out later) then this is the best method.

After unscrewing the top screw, I pulled it loose just a bit, and then used a butter knife in between the corner light and headlight (near the bottom) to pry the pin out. Went from a 45 minute adventure the first time to 30 seconds per side.
Now with the 1piece lights I'll have to take the whoooole thing out.
