bumper light rewire

bumper light rewire

how do i rewire my bumper lights to stay on with just the clearence lights and the fog lights without rewireing my 1156 lights bulbs to 1157?

I'm a little confused at your question. Are you asking how to make your 1156 bumper turn signals in to 1157 clearence and turn signals? I don't get how the fog lights play a role for this, I may be misunderstanding you.

i just want the turn signal lights to stay on when my lights are on but still be able to blink, kind of like the fog light rewire where you can have them on without the headlights. is that possible for the turn signals and have them still blink?

^^^^I don't know how to do what you mentioned. I converted the bumper lights to 1157.

i know what he's talking about....look at my sig, the lights/corners/side marker is on but not the turn signal, he wants to know if the turn signal can be on w/ the rest but still be able to blink......

Actually I dont think that is what he is looking for. He wants to make the 1156 bumper bulb stay lit and blink on and off, without changing it to a 1157.
I think. Let us know for sure.
If you do want to convert the bumper bulb to a 1157, it is easy and the above link is what I used. Here is a pic:

Now they are lit and blink brighter.

you can by adding a relay and its a pain in the *** just swap it to a 1157 and call it a day

i thought it would just be easier to just have then stay the same, i thought i could just give them constant power like the fog lights but i guess im wrong?

and i have those directions maybe i'm reading them wrong or dont understand, i just blew a fuse what wires do i have to add to just make the turn signals stay on but still blink when i turn on the left or right signal?
