I installed the tokico hp suspension kit the other day and today the car started to make this loud knocking noise when I turn the steering wheel. It sounds like its coming from the front left (driver side) wheel.
I just put on new struts, springs, and rims.

Anyone know what thois noise is ans wha I can do about it?

It sounds like your upper strut bearing is broken. It's a circular disc that sits on the strut mount. Did you re-use this part?

I heard that once you install new struts and springs its kay to have some noise and it will go away after a few days.
Is this true?
could this noise be it?

The sound is just the spring rotating as you turn the wheel. Most likely the bearing.

Did you clock the upper spring perch correctly when you put the new springs on?
The word "OUT" stamped on the upper perch must face outwards or be in line with the struts lower mounting flange. If thats not done your springs will not sit evenly in the upper perch and the coils may bind up against each other as they rotate.

Kragen has it for 30 bucks a piece. It comes with the strut mount too. You have to find the part online, print it out and take it to the store or else they will charge you a lot more. Their online price and store price don't match.

Hey, I have a similiar problem. When I drive slow, sometimes i also hear a clicking noise but it's quiet and near the part where the steering wheel is located. I don't know what it is. I can also hear it when I drive over bumps.

Any ideas what it might be?
