Factory Alarm Help

How do I program my horn to beep when I lock doors? Lights flash but horn doesnt beep. help me

Man look under the Modification FAQ, there's an entire write up on riggin your alarm to have a "beep".

agree'd on the fact that you should do some research before asking this. Nobody researches anything anymore. But so far no one has made the horn sound with lock. Only the alarm beep mod.

i do research. if you read you would see i didnt ask for a beep. i thought i remembered it being a factory setup for the horn to beep on lock. maybe im reembering from another vehicle

thats why we metioned searching. Max was never made in our years for the horn to beep when locked. You can find the wiring for the alarm unit and find the horn wire. You can wire it into the blinkers but you'll need diodes I believe so the horn doesnt beep when you turn on the blinkers.

ya- that too, but I don't know the depth of install and difference between that and this so I can't comment on a Radio Shack install.
