The evil twins
After months of looking at cars I ended up getting for my son an identical Max. Same year same colour same interior except that his has a noisy exhaust and someone has put sawbladed alloys off a Pontiac on it.
Also had the same faults as mine. Leaking front calipers, oil leak, water leak, PS leak, tranny fluid leak. And I need two of those rubber bellows things that go in the inlet, after the MAF. Both split. I am tempted to wait for a quiet day and stick em side by side to see which one is fastest to 60.

I see what you wrote as only a good thing. You have two good projects on which to learn and offer that father-son experience. Most of what you mentioned are easy fixes; once repaired, your car and its longevity will be the better for it.
Good luck and have fun.....and for the love of God, get those damn Pontiac wheels off the son's max...

No, it's ok, it is hard to find a decent car this side of the border. On the other hand major repair costs are a fraction of what I'd pay in the US.
All the leaks are fixed now. But the ABS has died. Managed to track it to the rear, it must be a sensor. Have to see what's for sale by org members.
(Hahaha the Bose had a working display unlike mine. But the CD player is useless...)

If you like your Bose radio/CD setup you can buy a replacement off EBAY and fix what you have for cheap. Or you can send it to the Factory Car Stereo Repair shop in FL. They can fix all Nissan radio's and they fix them at a good price too. I currently have my second radio with them now, the CD changer died on me and I didn't want to go after market so I sent it to them.

Um.....thread from Feb.
This might be a little late but you can clean the sensor located on the caliper to see if that fixes the problem.
