Crankshaft position sensor(reference)??

I was out testing my spray and all was fine. I come to a stop and the car starts to misfire?? Anyway I make it home and the code I got was for crankshaft position sensor(reference). How would the nitrous make this go bad? or was it just a coincidence?

Luckily I have one and I'll be replacing it and my plugs tomorrow and hope that's it.fingers crossed

Anybody have any ideas what this could be?? Or cause it??

I also posted this in the nitrous section, but think I would reach more people here and maybe get some better answers

I would still like to know what triggered it? How would spraying nitrous cause it to go bad?
