ok, I might just be stupid, but I need to get a front bumper license plate bracket for a front plate pretty soon, and I want to offset my plate to the side, will the OEM one work without any mods? if not what do I need to do to make it work, or what kind should I buy for this type of thing?

get a universal bracket from advance auto. if you buy a factory one, you will have to mod it to make it work. you could also drill the holes where you want them and bolt it directly to the bumper and put some rubber washers behind it.

mine's an authentic Japanese plate, from the big Island, proper plate for my car, I did research, kinda sad actually, but I want it to be correct
