Yesterday I got a code for a crankshaft position sensor(ref), so I changed it and everything was fine. I go out and test my spray and the misfire comes back again. Do you think by me spraying i am frying the sensor?? That time I got a code ,so I check for a code and am getting the same one. Any ideas as to what this could be??

I think I might fix this max and buy a newer one.

 

Just to let you know i also switched to a heavier oil 10w40(because of mileage 173,000 and the fact that I will be spraying). I don't know if that has anything to do with it , but just thought i would throw it out there.
