Pinnaclenissan.com is a good one, but I would take this chance to upgrade either to a 5thgen clutch or a centerforce! I prefer centerforce myself

There's a group buy for the SPEC clutches, see the Group Deals / Sponsors Forum

Also, my flywheel is warped out of spec at 106K, so be prepared to change this too if you have a high mileage car.

Important parts are the disc(do not get a 6 puck racing disc if you're going to be driving in traffic, you will suffer), pressure plate(make sure it's new) and throwout bearing.

I got an Exedy on eBay for $125 shipped. You get pressure plate, t/o bearing, and clutch disc. It arrived in about 2 days. Then have your flywheel resurfaced. That's the important stuff.

Ignore the pilot bushing/bearing - they should not be replaced.

ebay=crap.

5th gen disk and pressure plate, and a new release bearing all the way. Cap it off with a fidanza flywheel if you want.

I was a little reluctant, but the seller I bought from had a huge number of positive feedbacks, and Exedy/Daiken makes the Nissan OEM clutch, as well as parts for Bonez and ACT.

If you'd rather pay 2x as much for the same stuff, that's your choice.

You have a flywheel. You just need to get it resurfaced.

I think my flywheel is warped, so I might end up getting new ones, so how much does the Fidenza flywheel usually go for? and where can I get them with a good price?

first you must think your driving style then how many whp you have right now and how many whp you plan to have on your car in the future because for most of the people here a good replacement might do just fine if you have a few mods and race from time to time a high quality stage 1 should be your choice anything above the 300whp you are looking into stage 2 and above

but do have one thing in mind some stage 2 and above are very unforgiving in stop and go traffic, i do have a great experience using a exedy stage 1 very "normal"pedal feel and a great grip even on the 275-300whp range(240sx/sr20det)

There is no way you can warp a flywheel with a stock clutch. The surface may be scarred or rough which would cause it to chatter (easily fixed when if you resurface it) but warped, no. So unless you have taken the flywheel out and measure it with a micrometer, I don't believe it. Plus you do know that there are drawbacks for getting a lighter flywheel such as the Fidenza, right? You get to feel more of the engine vibration (pulsing actually). If you engine is not running perfectly smooth to begin with this will only worsen it. For the money I would rather get something that actually increase horsepower instead of just reducing rotating mass.

well the reason why I wanted to change the clutch was because sometimes when I'm at a stop light I like to shift while on neutral, but the problem is that sometimes the shifter won't even go into the gear fully as if its stuck, it would only go in if I carefully release the clutch. which is kind of weird to me, and it does this on all gears, 1st to reverse. Someone told me that it was the flywheel that was doing this, so I was thinking of changing that along with the disc/pressure plates

Very unlikely. It might have a few high spots, but if your flywheel was measurably warped your car would idle like a washing machine. A competent transmission shop can resurface it for $50.

Whoever told you the flywheel was the source of your shifting issues makes no sense. Clutch, yes, but not the flywheel.

i've found fidanza fly's on ebay, its not a scam or anything, once in a blue moon i'll see one there and they'll be like 300 ish , but new from fidanza they cost $360. like i said if you've got the money to blow do it, cause frankly taking out your tranny isn't something thats amazing fun and you might as well do as much as possible at once

and if you don't want to spend the money for the new fly, getting it resurfaced at a machine shop costs like 50 bucks if they're resonable

It almost always comes in the clutch kit. It should be easy to find one at the dealer or a parts store.

You might want to do the rear main seal while you are down there. Just make sure if someone else is doing it that they don't try to charge you an ADDITIONAL 450 in labor after they have already removed your flywheel to install it.

There is no need. Just search for these numbers c0100-6e600, 302100-89f00, 30502-41u20 at courtesy nissan. Then print out the prices and bring it to your local nissan to have them price match it. If you want to do the rear main seal the number is 12296-31u20.

The 5th gen clutch, pressure plate, and throwout bearing from Southpoint Nissan is $213 shipped to me in Ohio, so to Buffalo should be the same or a few dollars more. Call Dave Burnett and ask him to give you a quote.
