Monroe Shocks and Struts

I'm in search of new shocks and struts. I got some s-techs, and wait to purchase some struts to go ahead and put them in. I was plannig on getting the blues, but I also came across the Monroe Sensa-Trac struts, for a good deal. I was wondering, anyone have them? and if so, how is the ride?

uh, don't think the Sensa-trac struts were designed to be able to handle a drop, especially the S-tech drop (like Nissan 6 said). I hear they're comfy, but that is when they are used in the proper non-modified application....i.e. STOCK. I see early strut failure in your future should you choose to incorporate them in your set-up....pony up for a set of illuminas, man...or get the blues at the very least, though I'd hate to ride on that set-up with the S-techs

They are the best Canadian tire has to offer, as natty99 said, they should be great in a stock setup. Right now, they are buy one second half price for a pair of front struts, i am considering them myself over other cheaper alternatives (i am all stock on suspension).

I think my stock strut seals are broken, i can see the polished stainless tube that is part of the strut, is that bad? (both sides are like this) but i don't feel it when i drive, feels very normal and i have good fast cornering as far as i can tell.

Hey jattdemax; I was quoted $280.48 CAN for a pair of front Monroe struts at Canadian Tire here in Toronto BEFORE tax, are they the same price there in Ottawa?

andrei3333, yeah they are the same price here in Ottawa. Buy one get second one 1/2 off. Thats the reason I was concidering getting them, but I dont think they will work with my lowering springs. But from what I hear about them being great for stock..thats a good price.
