Question on 1996 O2 Sensors

how many o2 sensors are there in my 1996, and where are they located?

theres 2 in the ypipe and 1 in the cat... ?

what kind/brand of o2 sensors should i buy, or is recommended? (ive heard not to get bosch ones?)

any links would be useful. thanks

bosch makes the OEM nisan 02 sensors, i recently replaced my downstream 02 sensor. and the one i pulled out was made by bosch

not the bosch you buy in stores like autozone though. Those are sub-par. Incidentally, I have ALL 3 OEM NISSAN O2 sensors for 95/96, brand new never opened. They list for $142 EACH!! PM me if interested. I will make a deal if you need all 3.

go to your local nissan dealer and get them. its the best way.

since you have a 96, go to the dealer and have them look up your vin number to see if you qualify for an O2 sensor and EVAP recall. There is a 1996 maxima recall. It will save you money on O2 sensors. They did the recall on my 96, so I know it's out there.
