Studdering problem on rolling acceleration

I need help, suggestions, answers, etc...
I dont know if I have posted this problem before but I've had it for quite some time now and I've ruled out everything I can think of.

My problem mostly occurs during third and fourth gear: I'll be driving in third gear at about 3000 rpms... if I gun it, the car tends to studder or slightly bog for a split second, then catches its momentum.. same thing with fourth.

I hadnt really noticed it until I installed my T/S ECU, but the car did feel it had lost some power prior to the ECU. I tried installing the stock ECU and it continued with the same problem.

It was doing it with the VQ30 and I figured since there was no codes being thrown, it could have probably been a vacuum leak somewhere, so I never fixed it because I was planning on doing the 3.5 swap.

Now that I've done the swap, the problem continues. I've checked the MAF sensor and it seems to be okay. I bought another MAF sensor, and it continues to do it. The connectors to the MAF sensor also read a good voltage...

To clarify it a little, it does it almost everytime I gun it during the 3000 rpm range, but the hesitation differs-- sometimes more noticeable than others.

I am now clueless as to what it could be.

HELP!!

Funny, I get that problem whenever shifting from third to fourth under ~70% throttle at about 3k. Interested to hear the answer...

knock sensor and spark plugs and fuel filter change will get rid of that problem also lok at the coil packs its all of those factors

Knock sensor was just replaced about 6 months ago. straight from nissan
Spark plugs brand new: straight from Nissan
Fuel filter has also been changed out about 3 months ago.

Would the MAF sensor trigger that studdering problem if my intake off of my 3.5 is 3 inches wide and the MAF sensor is smaller in diameter(not sure whats the dimensions of the A32 MAF)??

The thing that really has me confused is the fact that it was doing it with my 3.0, and now that I've done the swap, its still doing it.

It has to be a sensor of some sort but the MAF is reading correctly, the MAP/BARO solenoid is good, the MAP sensor is good.

What other sesnro would trigger that type of problem/ behavior??

I'm pretty sure it has something to do with the flywheel. Mine does it. I started noticing this after a clutch job/flywheel resurface. I remember reading a thread about this in 04. I think I saved it, I'll post it if I find it.

Thanks!

Here's my dilema though... I bought a new flywheel for it when I did the swap.
It seems that its a common problem in Maximas.

I'm beginning to think it could be what StephenMax mentioned about the ECU.
I can safely rule out the coils, injectors, flywheel, knock sensor, and the fuel filter because they have all been switched out.

Yeah, i have same thing too, but at 2000-2500 rpm - the just not going and giving me strange sound like the it needs something, and after 2500 rpm its going fine again.
I heard a lot of "suggestions" what could it be but no one knows for sure, and things like - lets replace this, maybe it'll help - sounds not good enough for me.

it sounds like a ECU fault from the factory i have to believe that with the miles of vacum lines the motor has that at a certain point the boost sensor diaphram is in all the way and make the ECU run rich for just a millisecind and then it leans it out back to normal again just and idea though.
