quik question about 01 vlsd tranny in 4th gen

I have a 01 vlsd 5spd tranny. I know I need a drivers side axle for a vlsd trans since I'm coming from a non locking trans. Do I need to get the 2001 axle? Or does any axle 95-01 work as long as its locking?

Any VLSD M/T axle will work
