Does anyone know if there was more than one color that would be considered beige or gold on a stock 4gen? I am going to buy a used hood tomorrow and the guy said it is gold, and I dont want to worry about painting the car so I wanted to make sure that there was only my pebble beige color.

if it's from a 1995-1998 you'll be all set i believe. there are two golds and i think it changed in 99.

I cannot remember which year it changed.

And no problem about not findig the info by searching. I just like to mention it any time the info is in the sticky threads so that 1) people dont ask me to ADD it to the stickys, and 2) so that people know to look for this type of info in the stickys in the future.

From that link, it seems that PBM was still the tan of choice in 98, so you should be set on that hood.

Well on the way to the yard, the guy called me and said they had arched the hood while removing it... Im pissed since I was already half way there and I had been looking for one for a few months now, and since some moron couldnt take off the hood right I have to keep searching... Oh well sorry guys just had to rant...
