I'm upgrading lenses myself here soon, can't wait to get a sharper cutoff and more brightness. 50w modded variable-wattage ballast, too

nice!! idk if u read up on it on hidplanet but the "lip" of the zkw lens is a little thinner than TL lens. so the lens is a little loose when u swap it. what u want to do is cut out a ring from a cereal box card board and use it as a gasket. so it should mount...projector ->gasket ->zkw lens -> lens holder.

post pics when u get it swapped!

Thats a good price for that setup that he did. You can go to hidplanet.com forums section and look at some people that can charge from $800 for LABOR itself.

Oh yeah, use the vise grip to hold the hood up! I do, and I have E46 Retros from Hidplanet.

Maxgtr2000 did a sweet job on my setup, I beleive I was the first customer.

i agree, it isnt that difficult. you just have to take your sweet time and double and triple check all measurments before you start hacking the housing. i even made up my own harness.

When you turn on the brights, do the projectors and the inner, normal whatever the hell they are, bulbs light up at the same time? Or do only the projectors work?
