Question about tires on 4th gen

Just about to order (4) 17x8 rims for my 95 and wondering if these tires will fit properly. They are 225/45H/R17 ( the company is going to mount and balance them )
dunno much about tires so any feedback appreciated thanks

235-45 are better than the size you mentioned.

I have 235/45/17 on G35 coupes. I think 225 would be on the skinny side. Your wheels would sit out a little farther than the sidewall.

I'd go with the 235's personally.

205/65R15 (Stock size) ...overall diameter: 25,47
225/45R17.....................overall diameter: 24,96
235/45R17.....................overall diameter: 25,30

Basically, anything in the 0,5 range up or down stock size a good choice, so both size are ok. This way you'll keep the right car geometry and you will not have speedo issues. But go with 235, better grip and I have 225/45R17 on 17x7 wheels and I fear they might be a little skinny for 17x8.
