Help!! bought LED bulbs but don't fit
Hey i just picked up a set of
Amber 1157 Wide Angled 32-LED Lights
for my corner bulbs... but when i went to put them in they don't fit
the LED's stick out too far to slide into corner light housing. any ideas of how i can get them in?

it says they are 25mm (1") in diameter but the LED's bring it to 30mm 25mm would fit in houseing but thats it. its a tight squeeze for that.

dont use those, refund them and buy regular bulbs of whatever colour u want
here is the reason: directivity
I have a pair of red LED lights exacly as the ones u try to install, they are directional, meaning they send light on a narrow angle in one direction, since the way the corner light housing is designed, when u put the bulb in and put the assembly back, the buld points UP and thats where the light goes, the reflector behind it doesnt see much light and thus the light u see will not be bright at all.
A regular bulb (non led) is 90% omni-directional, meaning its round like a ball and sends light into all directions, thus when its in the housing it lights up the reflector quite nicely. i tried to use those led lights in the rear but the voltage is not enough to light them up when u r not pressing the breaks, but when u press the breaks they light up. there is a rewire for this but i dont feel like splicing taillight wires!

horrible ms paint but you get the idea the 30 mm part needs to go through the hole on the corner light housing (go inside of it)
ok i get it, hmm if u start shaving the opening u may shave too much and the assembly wil;l not lock in place, but at the same time if that is the correct diff of 5mm then thats a not a lot, thats 2.5mm all around and thats nothing try saving off a few mm off the housing
sorry for not understanding correctly from the begining, its nice that u r patient to explain

no prob... i really don't wanna have to shave anything ... i paid $30 for these ... but i might just return them and go get some BI Polarg 27/8 watt 1157's instead

yes thats what i put in my clearance lights, i dont understand why nissan would put a WHITE bulb in there from the begining?!?!?!! its a CLEARANCE light it is supposed to be yellow.
it might as well have been the turning signal, because the stock turning signal is great for those who are in front of u but those parallel to your car can barely see it, where as the corner light can be seen from anywhere.
If i was not as lazy as i am i would follow the writeup and rewire my clearance light to be a turn signal, but oh well

i had the corner light as a signal when i had the cefiro headlights. The two bumper lights would alternate while the corner light blinked with the front turn signal. It took like 5 min. to do. and it was pretty sweet.
