Auto tranny swap

I cant seem to find (if one exists) a how-to of some sort about swapping the transmission. I need to take my broken auto out and put a working auto in. Yes, I did find the auto-manual swap how-to, but Im looking for auto-to-auto. Thanks.

get a fixer manual from any parts store. Auto ive done 3 times. I use one little tool box and just get a nice jack, jack stands. something to get the trannny up, i just use my engine host. need a special size socket for the axle nut. Other than that take it slow. first time, give your self a whole weekend

depends on what kind of driving he does. Stop and go traffic sucks with a manual - ever gone down the 405 freeway during rush hour you would know, its enough to drive a sane man re.

Well he might have reasons for not swapping a manual. Plus the fact it's much more work than swapping in another auto and a lot of extra $$$. Plus, with a VB mod and tranny cooler, maybe shift-fast mod, he can run just as fast as a manual. Yeah they are fun but to me personally, I don't want to deal with a manual. I'd rather manumatic any day.

The manual should have how to remove the tranny. Then follow the install part. It's a lot about lining things up correctly. Or just pay to have a shop install it quickly.
